I bought my very first Beauty Blender about a year ago. At first I didn’t know what to think of it. There was so much hype around it, I tried to make it work for me but didn’t end up loving it at first. Threw it beside and continued using my usual buffing brushes.
I rediscovered Beauty Blender again in August, and have used it ever since. So much, that the first one broke and I had to repurchase a new one. And “ooh” the feeling of new fresh Beauty Blender!
The Beauty Blender is famous for its egg-shaped design and bright pink colour. It comes in other colours as well, but the original one is pink. Actually I was a bit sceptic about the pink Beauty Blender as every time I washed it, it gave away a bit of colour. I haven’t had this problem with the black one.
It makes the makeup look natural and thanks to its precise point it’s wonderful for concealer application, getting into all of those little areas of the face. Run it under water, when the sponge becomes saturated and beautifully plumped, squeeze out the excess water and you’re ready to go! I use it for my foundation, concealer and I also like to set my under eye area with it. The finish is always flawless and natural. It’s pretty much the best tool ever for applying concealer and foundation.
Beauty Blender is that dream tool that can do anything to your skin that you desire. It pats, plumps and smooths with ridiculous ease, that makes me wonder what on earth I was doing before I became a sponge user. Haven’t used my buffing brushes for a while now. A little late to the party, but I’m pleased that I finally discovered it. I’m a fan!
