MAC lipsticks come in a variety of finishes, but their matte finish ones are the most pigmented and long-wearing, which is why I love them! They have the best colour payoff and feel soft and velvety on the lips. I like no-fuzz lipsticks that I can apply easily and forget about them. I just don’t have the habit to check on my lipstick situation often. I prefer not to deal with smears across my chin or an unintended ombre effect, due to the lack of longevity of the lipstick.
– my very first lipstick from MAC. I was searching for something nude with brown undertones and fell in love with this one. It is pinky, tawny, brown lipstick that pairs with anything and everything. It is of matte finish, but not so drying compared to retro matte formula ones. Surprisingly creamy and smooth, glides on easily. Pigmented and opaque even in just one layer. Doesn’t flake nor budge. My current favourite go-to lipstick.
If you’re interested trying out that Kylie Jenner browny nude lip but aren’t sure if it’s the best look on you, try Mehr!
– it’s the classic red which every girl needs in her collection. It’s not too warm or too cool, and the formula is extremely matte. It hangs around forever and you can skip liner with it, as it’s so darn durable. A great one if you want to wear a bold lip, perfect red for those special occasions!
Ruby Woo suits well for many complexions, which is why I think it’s a great gift for someone that hasn’t found the perfect red lipstick jet.
– I was in search of something new and fun. And when the girl in MAC introduced me to the Magic of the Night collection and showed me this colour, I knew that I have to have it. They didn’t even have a tester for it, but that didn’t stop me. Just by looking at it I knew that it will suit me well, love from the first sight!
It is muted, deep reddish purple, with warm pink tones. It was a part of Magic of the Night collection which came in ridiculously gorgeous metallic purple packaging. As Mehr it is super easy to wear, creamy and applies smoothly. Doesn’t dry out your lips and is really opaque and pigmented. Perfect purple for autumn-winter wear.
