New in: Marc Jacobs, Laura Mercier & Charlotte Tilbury

Hi lovelies! Here are my newest makeup bits that I managed to get from US. Here in Estonia we don’t have much of a¬†selection of makeup so every time I hear that someone is travelling outside of the country I send them off with a wish list. ūüėÄ haha, well it doesn’t work ¬†every time, but this time I had some luck and my friends managed to¬†pick¬†my beauties up.

So the first thing that popped into my mind when I heard that they are going was a new eyeshadow palette. I’ve had my eyes on the Lolita palette by Marc Jacobs¬†for¬†years now, but then there was the¬†Chanel Candeur et Experience (268) eyeshadow quad, that was released this year. I was so torn between them that I left the decision making to my friend.

The Lolita palette is¬†a versatile nude eyeshadow palette which is great for travel. The packaging looks and feels luxe. It’s sleek and sturdy. A great palette for everyday and evening looks. I’ve played around with it a bit and I must say that the shades are nicely pigmented and long-lasting.

Next on the list was Charlotte Tilbury’s lipstick in the shade Kim K.W. I knew from the start when Charlotte Tilbury came out with her Hot Lips collection that I¬†need to get my hands on that shade. It’s described as a “vintage inspired pale pink nude that makes lips look instantly fuller, and irresistible‚ÄĚ.¬†The lipstick is a flesh tone pink nude and it’s in the Charlotte Tilbury’s K.I.S.S.I.N.G formula. It’s creamy and at the same time highly pigmented, gives you a medium to full coverage and a natural shine.

The packaging of Charlotte Tilbury’s lipsticks is darn lovely, they are so picturesque. Plus the Hot Lips collection lipsticks have the embossed lip print on the bullet, which is a really nice added detail.¬†At first I wasn’t sure about the shade as I haven’t owned this light nude lipstick before, but the moment I applied it I knew I was in love! Kim surely is the queen of nudes ūüėČ

And finishing the post off with an old favorite – Laura Mercier Translucent Loose Setting Powder. It’s actually the main reason for this haul. I noticed that my current one is running out. It’s my favourite powder and I just can’t¬†live without it! As I heard that my friends are going to visit their family in the US, I asked them if they can bring it to me. Obviously I couldn’t limit myself with just one item ūüėÄ .
