New Year…New Goals

Hey there! Really belated blog post for the new year, sorry for that.

Did want to post this already in January but what can I do – one of my main goals of 2017 was fulfilled and all the free time, that I was use to have, disappeared. Now I’m struggling to fit a job, school and blogging into my hectic lifestyle. – As you know, I’m a person who likes to have a certain routine and I’m still figuring┬áit all out. So that’s the main reason for the lack of posts.

Setting goals and writing tasks is something I like to do all year-long, not just in the New Year. But this time I decided that I’m going to write my yearly goals down here just to make sure that I’d work for them even more. You know, once the secret is out you need to make a bigger effort to achieve them. čśë And to be honest, January-February time is a good one┬áto start fresh with your goals and resolutions!

  • get a job
  • finish┬ámy bachelor’s degree
  • up my exercise game – it’s time to get my ass out and start working out properly. Bikini body here I come! Actually, my main goal is to get fit before┬áour Bali trip and be in the best shape of my life before I get 25.
  • find my style – the story of my life.. Somehow, I’m still uncertain what my style is. Always bouncing between different styles and┬áconstantly feeling insecure┬áabout my choices, and it just needs to stop. I hope that┬áthis year I’ll make some progress.
  • up my IG game – I feel that my IG is full of mixed posts that don’t go together and the picture quality sucks. Really need to think about more before posting and spend time on picture-taking čÖé
  • be more environmentally conscious – this is one big topic that I’ve discovered for myself. My goal is to recycle more, research the food that I’m eating and buy more local goods. We live in a world where we have access to immense information. However, despite that ┬ápeople don’t use┬átheir opportunity to search out what kind of ingredients are┬ácancerogenic for them or harmful for the environment. For example, I’ve already changed up my laundry products to the ones┬áthat contain ingredients that are┬ábiodegradable, and I try my best to avoid palm oil at any cost.
  • avoid companies and ingredients that have been produced by child labor –┬áthis collides one with the last point. I don’t want to support companies who use child labor and from now on try to avoid brands that are known for it. Children must stay at school, not spend their childhood working…

Oh, ended the list on a very dark note. Sorry for that, these topics are never easy, and my whole work place thinks that I’m making my life so much more harder because of my decisions. I at least don’t think so, being a responsible shopper can be difficult at first┬áas you find so many products that are against your beliefs. But at the end the┬áultimate goal is the one that counts.

What are your goals for the new year? Let me know down below čśë
