September favourites

I decided to give a go on that whole monthly favourites- thang. I know, almost every beauty blogger writes them, but I myself do really enjoy reading/watching them so I hope you don’t mind that I’ve started my own section as well.

September was quite good month for me, especially as I managed to get my skin back in order. Also it was the first month this year that I managed to sit down and relax. As my skin was healing I didn’t wear makeup on most days, focusing mostly on skincare.

Skincare

Alpha-H Liquid Gold: As medications are making my skin quite dry I knew I need to start using Liquid Gold more often. Not only does it make my medications work better, it also pushes my skin to renew itself and brings all the natural oils to the surface. This means that I don’t have to deal with flaky skin anymore. Plus it’s a great product against ageing 😉 . Want to know more? Then read my review on it here. Interested in buying it? Then hurry to CultBeauty as they have a super good offer on Liquid Gold at the moment.

Lush Popcorn lip scrub: I don’t know how about you, but for me autumn means dry lips. I find that Lush lip scrubs are one of the best on the market, plus they taste so good. Something that I won’t skip on my weekly skincare routine.

Pai Rosehip BioRegenerate Oil: By now you probably know that for me this is the king of facial oils. It moisturizes your skin, making it plump and juicy, reduces redness and helps to fade the dark spots. I’ve also written a detailed review on it – you can read it here.

Makeup

Too Faced Better than Sex mascara: Surprise-surprise, this mascara has made it to my everyday makeup bag and has stayed this time. I know, at first I hated this mascara to bits. And I must admit that I still wouldn’t recommend it to anybody as it’s not worth its price. Tho I like it now, it took 6 months for the formula to dry out a bit so it’s more easily usable. Now it holds the curl and doesn’t crumble all over my face. If you don’t know what kind of trouble I had at first with this mascara, then read my review on it here.

Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 Hour Cream Eyeshadow in  the shade 70 Metallic Pomegranate: The moment the weather turned colder I searched out all my plum-toned eyeshadows. In the pot is seems as a really intense reddish plum colour with fine gold shimmer, something that you wouldn’t consider to use as an eyeshadow. But somehow on the lid the color transfers into warm-ish plum that is perfect for autumn/winter time.

The Body Shop Illuminating primer – As I wrote on My Guide To the Perfect Natural Looking Highlighter post I love to use this primer as a highlighter. It’s the only cream highlighter that I own and I love it as it  gives you the most natural radiance. Applies on very light and non greasy nor sticky.

Clarins’ Instant Light Natural Lip Perfector in Toffee Pink Shimmer – Toffee Pink Shimmer is a wonderful shade, it’s a nice mauvy-pink shade that suits well for autumn time. What’s also great is the factc that these lip glosses hydrate and smoothe your lips, perfect for colder periods.

What are your beloved beauty bits that are used almost daily by you? Let me know in the comments below 😉
