Kicking our Bali series off with Pandawa beach, locally referred to as ‘Pantai Pandawa’. This gorgeous beach is located on Bali’s southern Bukit Peninsula. It has the whitest sand and blue emerald water that will catch your heart. It’s just a resemble of paradise which you’re use to see from TV. Pandawa beach was the first beach we visited and compared to other beaches around Bali, it stands out with its long beach strip and cleanliness. Overall I’d recommend Bukit Peninsula beaches over other well-known beaches like Seminyak or Canngu beach. They are clean, well-kept, with deep-blue seawater and cafes/restaurants are way cheaper there.
We wondered further away from the main beach and found a really cool old fishermen stairway. Couldn’t pass away to take some shots from there. The freedom I felt at that beach was unreal. There were no people around us and we could enjoy the whole beach to ourselves. People started to arrive around 13:30, so if you visit the beach before that you can enjoy it all to yourself! Restaurants around there were decent and well priced. Young coconut costing about 20 000 IDR which is 1.20 €. Three of us managed to fill our belliess with just one of it. Yum!
Hope you enjoy the photos!
